Corpus Christi Pool Pros provides professional spa & hot tub installation in Corpus Christi, TX for homeowners across the Coastal Bend. A spa earns its keep in Corpus Christi in a way a heated pool rarely does. The pool is comfortable most of the year on its own.
The spa is what gets used on the handful of genuinely cold evenings between December and February, and heating 600 gallons costs a fraction of heating 25,000.
Most of what we build is a raised gunite spa spilling into the pool, and building it with the pool instead of after it is dramatically cheaper because it shares the pad, filtration, heater, gas line, and automation.
Six to eight therapy jets, a dedicated blower, an 11 to 18 inch raised bond beam with a tiled face, and a spillway wide enough to look deliberate.
Seat depth, jet height, and bond beam height decide whether anyone actually sits in it, and they are worth ten minutes at the design table.
A spa on dedicated equipment makes sense when the pool is large and you have no interest in firing the heater at all of it. Standalone acrylic tubs are a different job, and the differences are structural and electrical.
A four-inch reinforced pad, poured level and set above grade rather than in the low corner of a yard that ponds, because we are flat, we drain slowly, and a tub standing in brackish water after a surge or a heavy rain loses its underside hardware fast.
A dedicated 50-amp GFCI circuit run by a licensed electrician, correct bonding, and a disconnect within reach. Clearance on all four sides to pull the side panels, since skipping it doubles the price of every future repair.
Corrosion sets the parts list: cupro-nickel heat exchanger as standard on anything coastal, marine-grade jet escutcheons, cover hardware and handrail anchors, and a cabinet vented well enough that the control pack is not cooking itself.
Before a named storm the cover comes off and gets stored, because a spa cover is a sail. We repair at least as much as we install.
Cracked jet bodies, dead blowers, heaters locking out on a pressure switch, corroded control packs, and spillway tile worked loose by years of thermal cycling. If the shell is sound and the problem is a $400 part, that is the quote you get.
With 15+ years of experience, our insured team brings the right materials and equipment to every job — gunite and shotcrete shells, pebble, mini-pebble and quartz interior finishes, glass and porcelain waterline tile, travertine and shell-stone coping, saltwater chlorination at roughly 3,200 ppm, variable-speed pumps — and backs the work with a written workmanship warranty. We serve Corpus Christi and nearby communities including Portland, Robstown, Aransas Pass, Ingleside.

Materials, equipment and how we do spa & hot tub installation
The difference between spa & hot tub installation that lasts and spa & hot tub installation that gets redone in three years is almost always preparation and materials, not the finish you see on day one. We work with gunite and shotcrete shells, pebble, mini-pebble and quartz interior finishes, glass and porcelain waterline tile, travertine and shell-stone coping, spec them to the job instead of to the invoice, and write the material grades into the free estimate so you know exactly what you are buying.
Every Corpus Christi job runs the same way: site walk and measurements, written scope and fixed price, protection of the surrounding area, then the work itself with a daily clean-up. 15+ years of pool work in the Coastal Bend means we have already met whatever your property is going to throw at us — awkward access, older construction, an HOA with opinions.
